Community Picks: December

Each month we ask our community, “What are you excited about right now?”

Here’s what they have to say.

EVERGOODS Civic Half Zip 22

The classic single cavity daybag elevated. Quick access, intuitive layout, incredible laptop carry and durable, weather resistant materials make CHZ22 the go to everyday backpack for your active lifestyle.

Kevin Ankin: The hype on this bag is through the roof and as one who preordered it, I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Hill People Gear Junction Pack

A minimalist daypack just a bit larger than the Tarahumara. Should be out just before Christmas.

John DeMorris: I’m really curious about the potential of the upcoming Junction Pack from HPG. […] Couple this with HPGs recent release of the Pocket Sling and I think this could be a real winner.

Alpha One Niner Evade 1.5

The Evade 1.5 comes with all of the revisions that were incorporated in the Evade 2.0 plus a few new ones.

Jon Custis: I’m stoked about it because first of all, I need to replace my previous work backpack with something roughly the same size and comprised of the same amount of organization. […] I appreciate Helmie’s background, customer relationship management skills, and the ability to listen carefully to user input while revising the Evade series. It is just icing on the cake that he was also an infantryman in a previous life, so I’m fairly comfortable that he is producing a good piece of gear which I can rely on.

Peak Design Everyday Line V2

The Everyday Backpack, refined in every way; the all new low-profile Everyday Backpack Zip; three sizes of our best Everyday Sling yet; a totally redesigned Everyday Tote; a completely new and radical Everyday Totepack; and the bag that started it all for us, the Everyday Messenger. It’s everything we’ve learned, and we’ve learned a lot.

David Valencic I’m excited to see what Peak Design is up to at the end of November. Their tease makes it sound like an epic update to their bag lineup. Their bags look good and all the hardware works pretty dang well.
